Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. Naval KG Mankhurd celebrated the brother sister bond on Friday, 16th August, 2019.

Firstly, teacher narrated a small story based on the Lord Krishna and Draupadi. Then she explained the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan. Our school sahayikas Yashoda and Sakshi (Didi’s) tied a rakhi to our gadner bhaiya (Dinesh) following the traditional ways, thus giving children the visual learning.

Every class celebrated this festival with their friends by tying handmade rakhi’s. The decoration and ambience of all classes reflected this festival mood. This year innovation was added by UKG – A, they made rakhi using cream biscuit and chocolate. Children enjoyed tying rakhi to each other and eating it too.

Thanks to the combined efforts of teachers and students, the school not only succeeded in catalyzing the feeling of love, care, and affection but also teach students about our tradition.
