The colour orange was introduced to students on 6th August 2021. As part of orange colour day celebration, the teachers and the students dressed up in orange coloured clothing. The teachers performed a STEM activity to make the students understand that orange is a secondary colour which we can make by mixing red and yellow colours in correct proportion. A colour corner with orange-coloured things was displayed to the students and a memory game named “I spy” was organised, where students were encouraged to name the objects that were on the display. Students of Nursery participated in an art activity, bottle cap painting of basketball and made a pumpkin face mask too. Lower KG students participated in origami activity – paper fan folding. Upper KG students participated in Carrot peeling and cutting activity, where they used the pieces to make different shapes. All the activities were conducted online under the guidance of the teachers and with the assistance of the parents.
