Oral Hygiene
Oral hygiene is very essential to keep one’s body healthy. Naval KG school, Mankhurd conducted a session on Oral Hygiene on 15 July 2021. Teachers explained the significance of good dental health to the students in a play-way method and made the students aware about few important aspects for maintaining good oral hygiene like –
Brush the teeth twice a day once in the morning and once at night.
Brush the teeth in the right way.
Clean the tongue and massage the gums daily.
Eat healthy food with lot of fibres like fruits and vegetables.
Reduce consumption of sweets and junk food.
Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water after every meal.
Students from different classes were made to do various activities like cotton pasting and crown making, tooth brush paper craft, differentiating between healthy and unhealthy food which gives us a good or bad tooth, learning correct way of brushing using a toothbrush on an ice tray etc. Students enjoyed reciting the action song “Brush your teeth.” Through this activity we ensured that the smiles of our students always remain bright.
