Toys stimulate curiosity and imagination in children. A simple toy works wonders in child’s world of imagination. Keeping this in mind, teachers planned an activity to introduce positional words “before, after, between”, which also helps the child in understanding a pre-numerical concept. Teacher asked children to display to their classmates, their 3 favourite toys. She then explained the positional words using the soft toys while encouraging children to say sentences with positional words, using their toys.
