Everyone looks forward for the winter season after a wet monsoon. To acquaint the children with this season, children were introduced to things seen and felt during winter season.

Children were shown pictures/ models and explained about   snow, fog; people using woollens, room heaters, fireplace, importance of consuming warm drinks and certain food items to keep themselves warm in winter.

Many activities were conducted for the children. They were asked to circle and colour pictures associated with the winter season. They were also instructed to search for all objects in their home related to this season and were told to dress up in clothes that they would prefer to wear during winter season. Children were encouraged to drink warm soup, warm milk and warm water during the session. Children learned about the season through all these fun-filled activities, which they enjoyed a lot.
