Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26 July every year in honour of the Kargil War Heroes. The teachers, staff and students of Naval KG Mankhurd celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas in an online manner. Short video narrating the war and the victory of Indian Soldiers was prepared in-house by the teachers and was shown to the students. Special mention was made about Captain Batra whose words “Yeh Dil Mange More” reverberates even today. Students were also made aware that this day is celebrated all over India and in our national capital, New Delhi, the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at the India Gate. Students were also told that on this day functions are organized all over the country to commemorate the contributions of the Indian Armed Forces. As part of celebration students took an oath to always respect our soldiers who safeguard our freedom and protects us from enemies.
