Students of Naval KG Mankhurd celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on 1st October 2020 virtually with full zeal and enthusiasm. Teachers narrated about the father of our nation – Mahatma Gandhi, who lived on the principles of Ahimsa. Teachers explained about the three wise monkeys who refers to the three rules to follow: see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. Children also sang Bapu’s favourite bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ and recited the poem ‘Gandhiji Ke Bandar teen’.

Importance of having a clean environment and practice of good hygiene was also explained to the children.  Teachers along with the students and their parents took an oath to follow all measures to keep our surroundings clean and tidy.

All our students were inspired with Gandhiji’s values and thoughts and promised to become responsible citizen of our country.
