NKG Mankhurd conducted a fun activity with Ice on 27th April 2021. Teachers and students started preparation for the activity on 26th April. Initially some water was taken in a container. Students were instructed to note the colour of water and to see if they could make the water stand without the help of any container. They were also instructed to pour water into different shaped vessels and to observe the shape the water takes in each. The students then mixed some colour into the water, poured them into different shaped containers and placed it in freezer. Next day students were instructed to take out the containers from the freezer. Students were told to observe the form of the water and were also told to see whether they could now make the water stand without a container. This activity helped the students to learn about the properties of water and also how liquids turn into solids and vice-versa.
