Celebrating events and festivals in schools is an integral part of learning. Such celebrations bring students closer to cultural beliefs and harmony. The assembly area was decorated beforehand to set the festive mood. Few children to come to school in the festive attire to make the celebration special. A parent volunteer who contributed towards preparation of the celebration was invited by school to the special assembly.

Teacher narrated a simple and age appropriate story about Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim, founders of Islamic religion. Tradition of sharing food with poor and needy was highlighted. The traditional attire worn on Eid was also showcased. Parent volunteer along with her child performed Namaz. She also explained the prayer which was recited by the child while performing Namaz.

Afterwards, teacher along with parents and all children sang a song on Eid celebration.
