Diwali Celebrations
Diwali is known as the festival of lights. We, at Naval KG Mankhurd, celebrated this year’s Diwali virtually on 13 Nov 20. Students were asked to dress up in traditional attire. Stories were told and videos were shown to enlighten the students on the significance of Diwali. Children were encouraged to present solo performances like dancing, singing, chanting shlokas etc. This not only gave them an opportunity to express themselves but also helped in improving their public speaking skills. Children took part in an ecofriendly diya making activitty in which students were asked to make diyas using wheat-flour dough. Children also got involved in painting of diyas and they made beautiful rangolis in their drawing books using coloured pencils and crayons
