The secondary colour brown was introduced to students on 8th October 2021 in the virtual class. All students attended the class wearing costumes in different shades of Brown. Teacher discussed about the brown colour things that are found in nature like tree trunk, fruits, vegetables, birds, animals etc. Students participated in “I can make a colour” activity, where they learnt that when red, yellow and blue colours are mixed, a new colour called Brown is obtained. Students displayed their colour corner, where brown-coloured things were arranged and participated in activities which stimulate their thinking skills, life skills, creative and imaginative skills and sensory and motor skills. Nursery students made a healthy snack with “Brown Chana”. Lower KG students participated in an Origami activity of making of a paper dog and Upper KG students learned to mix wheat flour and made a human figure for the story “gingerbread man” and made jewellery with dry leaves.
