Navy Day in India is celebrated on 04 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. On that day in 1971, during the Indo-Pak war, the Indian Navy carried out a daring attack and sank the Pakistani ships off Karachi harbour and also damaged harbour installations. The great warriors of the Indian Navy are also remembered on the Navy Day.  Naval KG, Mankhurd celebrated Navy Day virtually. Students were explained the significance of the Indian Navy and Navy Day through short motivational videos and narration by teachers. Students actively participated in the celebrations by drawing pictures of Naval ensign (flag), ships, submarines and aircraft. This was followed by an interactive session wherein students explained what they understood about Navy Day. All these activities also kindled a patriotic spirit in the students.
