Naval KG, Mankhurdvirtuallycelebrated Red Colour Day on 9th April 2021. All teachers and students wore red coloured clothes and the teachers decorated their virtual classrooms with red coloured objects. Children were shown various red coloured objects like apple, tomato, pomegranate, pen, strawberries, balloons etc. A treasure hunt game was organised where children were encouraged to look for red coloured objects in their houses and were asked to show them to their friends. Teachers also narrated stories on red colour, using red coloured stick puppets. Thereafter all children recited the poem ‘My Red Balloon’. Various activities were conducted in all classes like colouring, paper tearing and sticking, red colour fruit salad making, mummy wrap with red paper ribbon etc. All these activities helped children to understand the concept of primary colour red. Overall, it was a fun learning experience for the students of Naval KG Mankhurd.
