The children from UKG classes participate in SHOW AND TELL activity which helps them to build their self – confidence and self – esteem. It enables them to improve their descriptive skills by communicating feelings, thoughts and emotions with words.
A small box with few toys, animal figures and fruits was kept aside. Children were asked to take turns to come up to the stage, pick their favourite item and speak few lines about it. It was very reassuring to see these little children speak few lines about their favourite toy. The communication skill, confidence, language and clarity of thought are the main areas where teacher’s work on while imparting training and children did full justice and made their teacher proud.
