On 19th December children of UKG set out for another interesting visit. This time they were going to Post Office situated at Anushakti Nagar. They carried with them post cards addressed to parents. Drawings on Christmas theme- Christmas tree, bells, gifts, star, Santa Claus, came to life on that small post card. This exercise was done a day prior to the visit.

Excitement saw no boundaries when they lined up for boarding the bus. They sang rhymes on the way to post office. After reaching the post office at BARC, officer from the post department welcomed the children. She took them for a small walk through the post office and explained children the journey of post card. She explained them how their colourful post card will cover a journey of few kilometers and reach the exact location as they all have written proper address. They also learnt about parcels. After thanking the lady for her time, love, and chocolate treat, children were excited to go to the post box for dropping their post cards.
The red box looked like a mystery box which will take their message to parents. The children were very happy as each one of them had written a special wish for Santa and were hopeful that it will be fulfilled.

LKG children did a similar exercise at school and posted their post cards in school post box which were later dropped at post office by school staff.
