Introduction
Naval KG School Mankhurd has grown from a small school, established in a unit away from the main base in Mumbai, to the most sought after KG school in Mankhurd. Being the first institution for a child, we are designed to provide a learning environment which helps them in their initial exposure to the outside world. We work towards overall development of children which balances between academic and co curricular activities. Children are generally in the age group of 3 - 6 years and this school takes it as a personal responsibility to introduce them to the fun of togetherness, sharing, caring and learning while growing.
The medium of training is English and we extend basic learning skills in Math, English, Hindi and Environment Science. Apart from this, various co-curricular activities are run throughout the year to enhance gross motor, fine motor and cognitive development skills. The School keenly engages these skills in a balanced approach to ensure guided development that include mental, physical and moral aspects.
NKG Mankhurd has a borne strength of 22 staff comprising Montessori trained teachers and experienced sahayikas. The overall administration is managed by the Headmistress, who is supported by two admin staff. The entire school team is led by the Commanding Officer, INS Tanaji as the Chairman and guided by the School Management Committee.
With a state of the art infrastructure and all modern facilities this school provides a safe learning environment to the children of naval fraternity and neighbourhood community.
